Situated at the foot of Castle Hill and spanning five distinctive levels, this recently constructed residence epitomizes a harmonious blend of sustainability and aesthetics, both paramount considerations for our discerning clients. The property offers breathtaking vistas of Magnetic Island and Cleveland Bay while showcasing a host of luxurious features, including a bespoke concrete lap pool, a sauna, and a cutting-edge solar system with battery storage.
Notably, approximately ninety-five percent of the external finishes of this home are engineered to demand minimal or no maintenance, thereby not only reducing long-term costs but also lessening its ecological footprint.
Before the commencement of the home construction, there was a prerequisite for comprehensive site preparations, including terracing the site to facilitate the building process. Additionally, unforeseen challenges arose in the form of rock outcrops, necessitating the implementation of architectural and structural adjustments to ensure the project's success.
Whenever feasible, our construction team incorporated natural rock outcrops into the foundation structure. In cases where slight adjustments to the building's positioning could circumvent the need for rock removal, we implemented these modifications. Only when no alternative was available, the rock was extracted.
By actively seeking solutions that allowed us to retain the rock, we not only preserved the integrity of the site but also realized substantial cost savings for our clients. These funds were subsequently allocated to enhance other facets of the construction project.
The project's ultimate outcome upon completion serves as a compelling exemple of harmonising with the site and its unique conditions. It underscores the attainability of sustainability for long-term advantages, while simultaneously achieving a striking and aesthetically pleasing design.
